Sangdae Hot Springs Tourist Hotel is in a mountain village about a 30-minute drive from central Gyeongsan. Although it can be hard to find on a first visit, the water quality is said to bring visitors back. Since the Silla period, the spring has been known as Onamjeong, Daejulgol Hot Spring, and Onsu-gol. Its water did not freeze even in midwinter and was used as a washing place.
